Heats • Windows

Heats & Boost Windows

Each heat runs ~45 seconds. Windows appear as neon ribbons — hit the crest to multiply exit velocity. Marshals can freeze deltas for ten seconds on yellow.

Heat 1

Baseline pace; safe lines. Window: mid-chicane crest (00:18–00:23).

Heat 2

Aggressive passes; cutter lanes. Window: underpass exit (00:12–00:16).

Heat 3

All-in finish; closer control. Window: final sector (00:31–00:37).

Bracket & Seed Map

Seeds recalc from live deltas, not legacy ranks. Walk-in to Heat 3 populates the map below; tie-breakers use flawless-lap flags.

Match A

A1 vs C2 — lane advantage to fastest delta.

Match B

B1 vs A2 — cutter priority after clean pass.

Match C

C1 vs B2 — closer shield toggled in last sector.

Crew Check-In Windows

Staggered entries keep lanes free. Wristbands pair to devices; pit radios get a quick echo test. Five-minute buffers prevent overlap.

  • Wristband ↔ device pairing confirmation.
  • Radio echo test near marshal post.
  • HUD theme sync with city skin.
  • Soft-barrier scan and reset if needed.

Logistics • Prep

Load-In & Soundcheck

Modular truss drops fast; LED arrays pass a thermal sweep; low-end gets a clean, tight roll-off so underglow breathes without mud.

  1. Dock & Stage — pallets to grid, truss lock.
  2. Power & LED — test rails, calibrate colorway.
  3. Audio — bass sweep, HUD sparkle match.

Safety • Cues

Marshal Signals & Track States

Lighted flags cut through the haze: yellow freezes passes, blue warns faster traffic, and red pauses the program. The HUD mirrors these states instantly.

  • Yellow — no overtakes; delta ghost frozen.

Surface • Grip

Weather & Surface Adapters

Light rain? The arena swaps to wet skins and softer ramps. A dry snap flips the presets back. The grip gauge below animates when it enters view.

  • Wet pack: softer curb ramps, reduced sparkle density.
  • Dry pack: tighter bass roll-off, faster underglow.
  • Wind watch: HUD particles thin beyond 15 km/h.

Flow • Access

Spectator Lanes & Queueing

Split ingress keeps views clear: fast-lane for ticketed, chill-lane for door. Wayfinding pulses in sync with audio so crowds move with the beat.

Contingency & Pause Protocols

Weather spikes or tech faults trigger a soft pause: music dims, grid breathes, HUD turns amber. Teams hold positions until the green crest returns.

Strike & Cleanup Plan

Soft barriers pack flat, LEDs ride in foam cradles, and lanes get a final sweep. The city grid goes back to calm by morning.

  1. Power down zones, tag cables, palletize by bay.
  2. Soft barrier skins off; foam to recycle stack.
  3. LED arrays into cases; verify latches, log IDs.
